I then made up a couple of CDs and sent them to Ann and Jeff. I still have a ton of photos to scan, from my family and Dee's family, but hope to be able to give the boys cd's so they have a backup to the actual photos. Of course the biggest problem we have is trying to identify the people in the photos, especially with few of the older generation left.

At 11:00pm on November 11, 2008, AZ Covah said…: They all went to Haverhill High School together. The kid in the middle was Eugene, the tail gunner. He was two years younger than my dad, probably 19 or 20 when this photo was shot. When my dad's B-17 was shot down, Eugene didn't make it out and was killed. The other kid was/is Donovan, the navigator, same class as my dad. He was assigned to a different aircraft that day and made it through fine. The best man at my folks wedding was Roland, Eugene’s older brother.
