Finally! Scout Hall will be open to Rockport Scouting organizations this fall!
Many Rockporters have followed the progress and supported the refurbishment of the Alvin S. Brown Scout Hall building on Mt. Pleasant Street in Rockport. We are pleased to announce that the building will be open for Rockport’s Scouting organizations this fall.
The project has taken several years, untold hours of volunteer work and thousands of dollars in money raised through Community Preservation Act grants, fundraising, and generous donations of labor, material, and in-kind services. We thank the community for your support and pleased to invite everyone to our upcoming Open House to show off this beautiful building.

Our committee of volunteers is dedicated to restoring this building for its historic significance and for the purpose of supporting youth in our community.
